Today Peoplecorp was pleased to partner with Pinsent Masons again for our Annual Employment, Incentives and Safety Update, held at their beautiful new Sydney office overlooking the Opera House and Harbour Bridge.
The session brought together HR and ER leaders for a timely discussion on the key legal, regulatory and workplace issues shaping the people agenda in 2026. Partners Aaron Goonrey and Carlie Holt shared practical insights on recent Fair Work Act amendments, emerging disputes and enforcement activity, as well as developments linked to technology, AI, data, WHS and automated decision making in the workplace.
The discussion also explored current trends in regulator focus, litigation and compliance expectations, with a particular lens on the lessons for people leaders from recent high-profile employment and industrial relations matters.
At the end Aaron chaired a Chatham House Rules Q&A which provided an opportunity for attendees to raise issues candidly and discuss the practical implications for their own organisations.
Thank you as always to the awesome Pinsent Masons team for hosting and sharing their expertise, and to everyone who joined us for another valuable and engaging event.
