A fantastic Senior Learning and Development opportunity that will develop into a larger remit over the coming years and offering the opportunity for career progression. 

THE ORGANISATION
This International organisation has gone through a sustained period of growth both organically and via Acquisitions. This top tier business is growing, has great employee tenure & a driven and passionate HR and L&D team predominantly based in the Sydney Head Office. In the midst of an exciting growth phase, the organisation has a very fast paced and professional environment where those with energy and drive will be successful. 

THE ROLE
In this role you will work as a senior learning and development contact within the business and therefore have ownership of the future learning strategy and roll out of programs and initiatives. Some of the key areas of focus will be as follows: 

  • Be the subject matter expert on employee education and training and in consultation with the L&D Advisor, identify training needs across the company network. 
  • In consultation with the HR team, design and implement the organisation’s performance development framework.
  • Lead the development and ongoing maintenance of the company’s competency framework.
  • In consultation with the HR team, develop a talent mapping process and ensure succession planning is in place for key roles.
  • Manage the L&D Advisor to ensure initiatives are achieved on time and help with their personal development.

THE CRITERIA
To be successful in your application you will have a strong background in Learning & Development, you will have experience within Professional Services and be at a stage of your personal development where you are looking to grow into a more senior capacity. Experience of operating in a fast paced and complex organisation will be hugely beneficial in order to hit the ground running. Candidates should have a positive outlook and a strong work ethic in order to fit into a hard working and high performing team.
