We have an exciting 9 month contract available for a committed and passionate Employee Relations Manager. Based at the head office, the remit of this role includes providing day-to-day employee relations advice. You will act as the Employee Relations expert for the Australian market as well as ensuring consistency across all markets nationwide. The main aspect of this role will be to lead the renegotiations of state based EA’s over the coming months and work closely with the unions to ensure a smooth and positive outcome for all parties.
You will work closely with the legal team to escalate any relevant matters and track all cases and reports on trends with the market.
This is a highly commercial environment and it is essential that your background includes significant time at a managerial level in an organisation with a similarly strong focus on commercial and business objectives. You will have sound knowledge and understanding of relevant ER legislation as well as excellent skills in influencing and negotiations to engage with a wide range of stakeholders. You must be a firm but considerate influencer.
