This role is an essential position within the Talent team where the successful candidate will be very much responsible for providing strategic direction for the diversity, inclusion and talent policies & procedures. You will manage the maintenance and upgrade for the talent systems by collaborating with the technical teams. You will take the lead in the implementation of company wide D&I initiatives across the entire business. You will champion diversity both internally and externally and work with the broader HR team to identify and overcome barriers to achieving a truly diverse workforce.
You will have the opportunity to lead specific initiatives across gender equity, indigenous programs, LGBTI and more, delivering analytics and reporting to inform leaders as to the operational impact and benefit of best practice Diversity & Inclusion. A large aspect of this role will be to collaborate with the Business Partners to ensure correct understanding around talent management, employee development and capability assessment.
To be considered for this role you must be an experienced HR professional with a background in developing and implementing diversity and inclusion strategies & initiatives & have been in a similar position for the last 3+ years . You are a self starter with a clear passion for this space! You possess excellent stakeholder engagement skills including influencing & coaching. The ideal candidate will have contemporary knowledge of D&I theories to assist in influencing D&I outcomes
