This new organisation is a leading, global business with a strong focus on providing innovative customer solutions. With a growth strategy in place for the APAC region, they are currently looking for a self motivated and versatile HR Manager to join their collaborative business and support the delivery of the regional HR strategy and plan.
Reporting to the Head of Human Resources for APAC, your role will provide leadership and support to an employee base of circa 120. This is a true generalist role with a broad remit covering all aspects of the employee lifecycle. Some of your key responsibilities will be:
- Coaching supervisors and management in goal setting, performance management and communication.
- Succession planning.
- Ensuring the data base is up to date with all employee contracts.
- Ensuring remuneration and benefits comply with the NZ law and Union.
- Working closely with the General Manager regarding rem and ben and strategy.
To be considered for the role you must have a solid HR background with a great understanding of New Zealand employment law, experience working in a unionised environment and experience in collective agreement negotiation. Excellent stakeholder management and IT skills are essential. A proactive, flexible approach and an ability to operate at pace will be critical to your success.
