THE COMPANY
Our client, an ASX-listed investment powerhouse, is on an exhilarating global expansion journey. With a strong presence in Australia, the US, and Canada, and a team of 450 dedicated professionals across various affiliates, they are making waves in multiple markets. This dynamic growth has opened up an exciting new opportunity within their HR team. We are on the lookout for an ambitious, proactive HR professional ready to make a significant impact in this newly created role.
We are seeking experienced individuals who are looking for a part-time opportunity and don’t mind a bit of admin.
THE ROLE
Reporting directly to the Head of HR, this comprehensive HR Generalist role offers a dynamic mix of responsibilities, including:
- Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from crafting compelling job ads on various platforms to screening, shortlisting, and scheduling interviews. Leverage university partnerships to attract top talent.
- Talent Pool Development: Build and nurture a robust network of industry professionals to create a pipeline of potential candidates.
- Employee Engagement: Assist with engagement surveys, analyse data to uncover key trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Generalist HR Support: Offer broad HR support by answering employee queries, conducting performance appraisals, overseeing exit interviews, and monitoring probationary employees.
- Psychometric Analysis: Interpret psychometric reports and prepare insightful interview questions for hiring managers.
This role is a true jack-of-all-trades, offering an excellent opportunity for candidates to gain exposure to every facet of HR.
THE CANDIDATE
We are seeking proactive, hands-on individuals with a ‘can-do’ attitude. Ideal candidates will have a background or interest in organisational psychology, though this is not essential. Experience within financial or professional services is essential. You should have 2-3 years of experience in the field and the confidence to provide solutions rather than present problems. We are looking for professional, intellectually curious individuals who are passionate about working in a numerically driven, data-centric organisation.
