THE ORGANISATION
Our client is a global fast-moving business with over 1000 staff here in Australia across multiple sites. They have a warm, friendly and high performing culture and are seeking an internal recruiter to join their team to support a particularly busy period. Based in Mascot, this role is initially a 3-month contract but there is the view to go permanent. On-site parking is available!
THE ROLE
Reporting directly to the HR Manager for the Australia regions, you’ll support across the full spectrum of HR activities. This will include but is not limited to, serving as the primary contact for employee relation issues around performance management and have responsibility to draft and implement performance improvement plans (PIPs), attending review meetings, and coaching managers through the process. You will be a primary point of contact for all stakeholders and support cyclical project activities across the people function.
THE CRITERIA
To be considered for this role, you must have significant generalist HR experience gained in a fast-paced environment. Ideally, you will have prior experience within the hospitality, retail, or FMCG sectors and prior experience working with unions. You must be able to operate at pace, in an environment where no two days are the same and possess the ability to perform under pressure. You will aso ideally have previous experience in a consultative role while possessing the capability to be influential in coaching managers & stakeholders around you. You will be highly motivated & enthusiastic with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
