THE ORGANISATION
Our client is a renowned global organisation within the education sector, who are known for their innovative approach to learning. Their dynamic HR team is growing and are seeking an experience HR advisor to step into this newly created unique role.
With multiple sites based across Melbourne, candidates must possess their own vehicle and be willing to travel.
THE ROLE
Reporting directly to the HR Partner, you will be actively involved in various HR functions, including:
- Overseeing the entire employee lifecycle, including contracts, onboarding, performance reviews, engagement, and exit interviews
- Assisting leaders in managing employee relations, including handling disciplinary actions, grievances, performance, and absence management, in line with policies and best practices
- Offering HR advice and guidance to staff and leadership
- Implementing HR policies, procedures, and processes across recruitment, onboarding, training, payroll, WHS, injury management, and leave to ensure effective people management that complies with both organisational and legal requirements
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in HR practices and leading projects aimed at enhancing HR services
- Occasionally travelling to campus sites to support and engage with staff
THE CRITERIA
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience as an HR generalist and the ability to thrive in an autonomous environment. You will excel at leading difficult conversations with key stakeholders, providing strategic advice on best practices, and identifying gaps to develop actionable plans. You will be able to work across multiple HR facets while assisting HR partners with projects and plans.
