Peoplecorp was delighted to welcome Emerging People & Culture professionals from across Sydney for our latest Emerging Talent event, proudly hosted at AONs head office.
The evening brought together emerging HR professionals and experienced industry leaders for an interactive discussion focused on career development, leadership and the realities of building a successful career in people and culture.
Unlike a traditional panel event, the session was designed to encourage open conversation. Attendees had the opportunity to ask candid questions, hear first-hand career stories and gain practical advice from leaders who have navigated a range of challenges and opportunities throughout their careers, in small roundtable groups.
The level of engagement throughout the evening was outstanding. From thoughtful questions to conversations that continued well after the formal session had finished, it was clear there is a genuine appetite for learning, connection and knowledge sharing within Sydney’s HR community.
One piece of feedback particularly stood out, our only criticism was that attendees wished the session had been longer. We’ll happily take that as a sign that the discussions were valuable and that there’s plenty more to explore at future events.
Events like these are only possible thanks to the generosity of those who are willing to share their experiences. We’d like to extend our sincere thanks to our panel of speakers for giving their time so generously and offering honest insights into their careers. Their openness and willingness to answer every question made for an engaging and valuable discussion.
A special thank you also goes to Aon for hosting the event and to everyone who worked behind the scenes to bring the evening together.
Most importantly, thank you to everyone who attended. The enthusiasm, curiosity and quality of discussion throughout the evening was a fantastic reminder of the strength of emerging HR talent coming through the profession. We’re proud to support the next generation of HR and People & Culture professionals and look forward to continuing these conversations at future events.
